From Soap Box to Big Box

Started in a little shop in the heart of Harvard Square, Cyrus Harvey, passionate entrepreneur, began what would be an industry that would allow people to smell good, look good, and feel good all over the world for decades. Little did he know, from this small personal project, called “The Soap Box” that it would grow into a world-wide company with a reputation for high-quality soaps, lotions, and bath products, often inspired by nature and traditional botanical ingredients and eventually to be known as Crabtree & Evelyn.

Crabtree & Evelyn was a company with a very unique story to tell, originally driven by its founder, and was far more surprising than meets the eye. I was tasked with the development of their website, web design, online store, wholesale, email sales & promotions, content management, photography, video, as well as collaborating on in-store display. It gave me a whole new way to see the world creatively, and by the way, who could turn up an opportunity to have the softest skin and to smell really good, all in the mix.
